Ages 2-3

Play with Me

Play With Me is a play-based group for 2 to 3-year-olds that targets age-appropriate play skills, such as turn-taking, sharing, and playing cooperatively with other children. The Play with Me group also focuses on increasing your child’s communication and developing social skills. During the group, children will participate in purposeful play activities, games, and move to music while socializing with other children. Come join the fun with your child while we play, learn, and explore! Children of all developmental levels are welcome!!

  • Led by: Haylee F. Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

  • For: Ages 2-3 years. One caregiver must stay with the child as this is a class designed to be enjoyed

    with your child! *Minimum of 3, maximum of 8 children.

  • When: June 4-June 25 | Meets every Wednesday 9:00am-10:00am

Ages 3-5

Adventures with Eric Carle

Hungry for some fun? This group will be all things Eric Carle. Think The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear Brown Bear, and everything in between. During the group, children will participate in story time, purposeful play activities, games, and crafts. Sign up to join the fun while we play, learn, and explore! Children of all developmental levels are welcome! 

*Due to the popularity of this class, two sessions will be offered. The sessions will be identical in content.

Backyard Bugs

We are BUGGIN’ OUT! This group will be all things bugs. During the group, children will participate in story time, purposeful play activities, games, and crafts. So slither or crawl on over to register to join the fun while we play, learn, and explore! Children of all developmental levels are welcome!

Music & Movement

Get ready to MOVE and GROOVE! This group will be all things singing, dancing, and playing instruments! During this group, children will get to learn & have fun with music, movement, and hands-on activities. Let's Twist & Shout together! Children of all developmental levels are welcome!

Yoga

This class will introduce yoga poses to young children in a fun and playful way. Float like a boat, sway like a tree, be as tall as a mountain! Join us for two hours of gentle stretches enhancing your child’s strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance skills. All things to improve body awareness and promote overall health and well-being. A healthy snack will be included in our time together. Children of all developmental levels are welcome!

Creepy Crawlers

Snakes, spiders, and bugs! Oh my! Slither over to Midwest Children’s Therapy for Creepy Crawlers! We will learn about bugs, spiders, and reptiles through stories, art, music, sensory bins, and more. Children of all abilities are welcome!

Dinosaur Discovery

They’re BIG, they STOMP, and they ROOOAAAR! Let’s learn about all things Dinosaur! Join us for a fun, hands on learning experience where children can dig for fossils, create art, play games, and engage in some prehistoric fun! Children of all developmental levels are welcome!

Splish-splash, it’s time for a blast! This group is all about soaking up the sun and making a splash with friends with all things water. Ages 5-11

Bookworms

Calling all students 8-11 years old for our summer book club! Join as we read The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate - a high-interest novel that celebrates diversity, inclusion, self-confidence, and perseverance. Participants can expect to engage in dynamic group discussions, art projects, fun activities, and themed snacks for our selected novel. All reading abilities are welcome. More information on novel selection will be emailed to participants. All supplies will be provided with the exception of the novel. Novels can be checked out from your local library or purchased.

  • For: Ages 8-11 *Minimum of 3, maximum of 8 children

  • When: Thursdays in June (June 5-June 26) 2:30-3:30 PM

Music is Groovy! Come learn basic music concepts while rocking out in a dynamic environment. Explore notes and the musical staff through art and sensory play. Get a chance to play an instrument with your own groupies! Children of all developmental ages welcome.
